On our journey towards more body love and acceptance, the belly can be a source of deep shame. We've been taught to hate our belly and do anything we can to make it tight, toned and flat. We have forgotten how to value the beautiful feminine rolls, giggle and pouch.
And in addition to the cultural pressure, the belly also stores old traumas, abuse, fears, and grief and can have many layers of protection.
This part of our body needs deep loving.
